These chocolate chip cookies are so tasty you would not believe that they are a healthier version, are refined sugar-free and vegan if you use dairy-free chocolate chips.
The real challenge is trying not to eat them all at once!
Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookies
Makes 10 cookies
Ingredients
½ cup Tahini
1 tsp Vanilla essence
1 cup Quick oats
2 Tbsp Almond meal
1 tsp baking powder
¼ cup Maple syrup
2 Tbsp Almond milk
1 Tbsp Cocoa powder
½ cup Chocolate chips (use dairy-free to make vegan cookies)
Pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 175ºC (350ºF) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease with a little bit of coconut oil.
Place all of the dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl, stir to combine. Then add the vanilla, maple syrup and almond milk. Mix well.
Scoop the batter out of the bowl by tablespoon and drop each ball onto the baking sheet. Gently flatten, and then bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges begin to turn golden brown. Let cool on baking sheet.
